COMPLIMENTARY FAMILY SESSION

As a Lange Photography senior, your family is entitled to receive a complimentary family portrait session (a $40 value). You may include all of your immediate family members and pets. We will take several different group poses as well as combinations of just siblings, just parents, mom with girls, dad with boys and, of course, all of you together! This is most likely going to be the last formal portrait you all have together until your senior gets married. Time goes by so quickly – why not preserve this moment in time for generations to come.

Family portrait details:
– $100 retainer secures your session date;
– family session must take place within 6 months of your senior session date;
– up to 1 hour camera time either in studio or at a location of your choice within 15 miles of the studio; and
– receive a print credit of $100 toward your order.

 

Every high school senior has unique characteristics and interesting personalities that should be captured and reflected through positive images on paper. This is what you are buying when making your senior portraits – not pieces of paper with your picture on it…but a memory of this very special moment in time.

Your session will be FUN! We will get outside and take some casual photos as well as capturing the more traditional yearbook portrait. Bring along some things that tell us all about you – prom dress, musical instrument, your smart phone, class ring, Letterman jacket, trophies, cowboy hat, sports equipment, and a sports jersey are wonderful props that we can incorporate into your session making it truly unique and tailored to you.

You are welcome to bring a friend with you to your session and we’ll do both of your sessions at the same time. Can you imagine how much fun that will be?! I can guarantee you will both have a blast – especially when we take some shots of the two of you together.

About two weeks after your session, you will return to the studio for your in-person proof presentation where we will review your proofs and place your order. The final printed products will be delivered approximately 4-6 weeks thereafter.

I am a wife, a mother of 6 busy children, and a photographer. I love, love, love, my husband, my children, my dogs, God, photography, talking, and a cold can of diet Pepsi.

I am a member of Professional Photographers of America and Kansas Professional Photographers of Association where I also hold a spot on the board. I have attended Kansas Professional Photographers School on several occasions to further my education.

I was born and raised and still live in the same small farm town community in Kansas. As many other photographers my passion started in high school journalism class in the darkroom. I still remember the smell of the darkroom and my amazement of watching the photograph appear under the chemicals right before my eyes. Today more than 20 years later it’s a bit different but still I get amazed by what a photograph can capture. The emotions of joy, happiness, togetherness. You can almost smell the newborn baby, hear the laughter, and feel the love.

It’s time to schedule your viewing/ordering session and you don’t know what to expect. Hopefully this will ease your mind and give you some helpful tips in purchasing and creating beautiful wall art for your home.
Just a few notes about how that works.  First we watch a fun video of your portrait session. I help you narrow down your choices and then help you decide what portrait sizes and products are best for you from your favorites! It takes about 1 1/2 hours from start to finish. Bring anyone along who will need to be here to make choices and be a part of the ordering session, sometimes that dad or grandma, etc. You will make your order at the time of your session.
Some homework for you before you come is to decide in your home where you might want to display your portraits. Living room, bedroom, bathroom, nursery, etc… You can even take photos of your walls in your home send them to me and I can show you sizes and products that will work best in your space! That’s one of the most rewarding parts of my job at Lange Photography is making sure your portraits and memories are displayed for everyone to see. I want your portraits to not only be in memory books for you to enjoy but also displayed in your home as Wall Art. Also, preparing a list of gift prints and sizes you need is helpful.
I want to make it as convenient for you as possible for that reason evening and even weekend times are available. In some cases I can even come to your home for this session.
